Barbie & Andy Yokom

Barbara Yokom
A visionary entrepreneur with 35 years of executive arts leadership. She founded and led a successful performing arts school for 29 years. Not only did Barbara lead the organizations vision, she taught ballet, jazz and tap classes for over 20 years. During her career she has coached and consulted others seeking to open their own arts businesses. She is responsible for starting the Academy of Dance for The Joffrey Ballet, in Chicago, and serving as its Founding Academy Director. She is the author of the best selling book, Never Stop Starting: The No Fail Formula for Creating a Crazy Great Culture. Barbara “Barbie” “Babs” or “Barb” to many loves anything outdoors, gardening and her dog Auggie.


Andy Yokom

Andy Yokom is proud to be a Michigander. He grew up in Three Rivers, MI and is excited to return to southwest Michigan after over 40 years being in Illinois. Andy has a 40 year career as a corporate attorney, and for the past 10 years in the renewable energy industry. He has volunteered and overseen legal compliance
and legal matters for non-profit arts organizations.
And is a proud dad to 3 very artistic children who continue to share their talents around the world. The Michigan Wolverines and the Detroit Lions are Andy’s favorites and when he is not watching those games he loves gardening, pickleball and loving on
his dog Auggie.
Annie Yokom
Annie Yokom is a Chicago based professional actor, singer, and dancer. She was last seen in the Marriott Theatre production of Cinderella and has performed at the Marriott in James and the Giant Peach and GYPSY! She is an Ambassador of Michael Feinstein’s Great American Songbook Foundation (54 Below, The Palladium, Lowe’s Regency, Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts) Credits include: Judy Garland in Beyond The Rainbow (Actors Theatre of Indiana) (Farmers Alley Theatre), Kragtar! (54 Below) (TNNY) Julie Jordan in Carousel (Wagon Wheel Theatre). Chicago Academy for the Arts alum and BFA in Musical Theatre from Carnegie Mellon University. Her screen credits include Young Veronica in the television show, Prison Break, and the film The Narrative by Dalvin Reynolds.
Annie is a member of of the Actors Equity Association.


Charlie Yokom​
​
Charlie Yokom is a NYC based professional music director, conductor, pianist, composer, copyist, and technician who has performed nationally and internationally with broadway tours. He studied at the University of Michigan in the School of Music, Theater, and Dance with a bachelors in composition. While working with professional artists, he also finds joy as an educator, teaching and accompanying musical theater classes to all ages. Charlie is also a piano technician, tuning and servicing acoustic pianos around the city.
Charlie is currently the music director for the Broadway National Tour of ELF THE MUSICAL with Crossroads LIVE North America. And was the music director for the Broadway National Tour of ELF THE MUSICAL in 2024 with NETworks Presentations. Previously, he was the music director for the 2023-24 international tour of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, directed by Matt Lenz, with music supervision by Andy Einhorn, produced by Broadway Asia. Charlie started his touring career as the associate music director for the Broadway National Tours of HAIRSPRAY, 2022-23, and WAITRESS, 2022.
His next production will be music directing the world premier of WORLD’S GREATEST LOVER, directed by Josh Bergasse,
this summer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Lillian Yokom
Lillian Yokom is a multidisciplinary artist and performer, originally from—and now based in—Chicago. She attended The Chicago Academy for the Arts and recently returned after five years in Los Angeles, where she earned her BFA in Dance from the California Institute of the Arts (CALARTS) in 2024.
During her time in Los Angeles, Lillian performed works by Kensaku Shinohara, Joan Jonas, Jerome Bel, Micaela Taylor, Mike Tyus and Luca Renzi, with performances at venues including REDCAT, The Getty, and various DIY spaces throughout the city.
She has performed internationally, including in Pantin, France at Le Centre national de la danse (CND), and most recently in Berlin, where she completed Mavericks through B12. There, she performed new works by Johannes Wieland and Sebastian Zuber, directed and conceptualized a short film, and created an original piece presented at Aktionshaus Gallery.
As a maker, Lillian’s main artistic practices are through improvisation, performance, and experimental video. Exploring how the body responds to live performance and the interplay of recording and being recorded. She embodies forms both animate and inanimate, attuning to the rhythms of the natural world while, particularly in her video practice, engaging with glitches and mediation of digital technologies. Rooted in a spiritual connection to the body and the earth, her work embraces friction and tenderness, proposing movement as a space for thoughtful presence, and play through improvisation as a site for research of multiple versions of self that emerge.

Sawyer Pierce
​
​Sawyer Pierce, is a Chicago based professional actor, and can be seen in such films as Clown Song (2025), The Art of Sweeping Under the Rug (2022), Barry (2016) and Maze Runner (2014). Sawyer has also shared his talents as an acting coach with "up and coming" actors at Marriott Theatre's, high school musical theatre, Boot Camp. A graduate from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in acting, Sawyer enjoys all sports but especially baseball and the Chicago Cubs.
Joni Wiltz Berkley
She is currently the Marketing and Communications Director for Loaves & Fishes Community Services, a "Guidestar Platinum" charitable giving organization. With a diverse career in arts education, administration, marketing, and non-profit development, she strives to create an authentic work environment with collaborative efforts reflecting core beliefs, mission, and vision. Joni has had extensive experience in arts education, where she excelled as a performing artist, teacher/choreographer, and Executive Arts Administrator in the Chicagoland area.
